Now what?????

Hi! I'm Daphne.....well, actually, my name is Linda. My Dad was going to name me Daphne but chickened out at the last minute! I wouldn't mind having Daphne as a name now, but I'm sure it would have been horrible growing up. Even now, while in the chatrooms, I am not immune to the occasional comment of "Hey, Daphne......where's Scooby!" I hate Scooby-Doo! The "a" is for my given middle name (Ann) and the "t" is for my maiden name (now, really....you didn't think I'd actually give THAT away, did you?)I signed on AOL in May of 1997 and have missed very few days since! I have met tons of people on here, but have come to realize that too many are not who they say they are. This is sad, really. The world gets smaller and smaller everyday and we are showered with the opportunities to meet wonderful people on here. I am pleased to say, tho, that there are a few that have made an indelible mark on my life.

My Heart, Soul and Breath.......

I have three terrific kids that i simply adore. Jacquelyn was born 6/26/90. She was the prettiest baby I have ever seen. I know......I HAVE to say that.....but I believe it with all my heart. Kelly Ann was born 4/19/93......the day the Davidian Compound burned. I watched this as i labored for her and prayed i would last till the next day, but at 10:37 pm, she arrived! That put a ray of sunshine in an otherwise very sad day. :c )Patrick was born 3/23/94......eleven months after Kelly Ann. I've heard every single comment there is regarding the fact that those two came so close together! He is a wild child, to say the least. He'd have been my last no matter where he hit. I'm tired for thinking about him!
